Enhanced collection and use of data in Alberta’s nonprofit sector is essential for the betterment of our communities. In recognition of the emerging technological opportunities for the sector to more fully utilize data, Alberta Culture & Tourism has provided funding to build a foundation for a new Nonprofit Data Strategy.
Nonprofit professionals who have an interest in improving the acquisition, analysis, and sharing of data are invited to join a Stakeholder Roundtable to help determine sector priorities and develop a roadmap that will serve as a foundation for the strategy.
This roundtable discussion is an opportunity to:
- Contribute your nonprofit’s views and priorities during this phase of the project
- Engage with other stakeholders to discuss the data related issues in the sector
Join this session to learn about the nonprofit data strategy and lend your perspecttive on nonprofit sector data, how that data is kept and data that exists outside of the nonprofit sector.
In advance of the roundable we encourage you to review the white paper here to learn about the project and prepare for the afternoon of stimulating discussion!
Can’t make it to the roundtable? Send your responses to the whitepaper, or other comments on this project, by email to Geoff Zakaib (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Coffee and light refreshments will be provided
