|The Edmonton Heritage Festival is the world’s largest three-day celebration of multiculturalism. From August 4–6, 2018, 72 pavilions representing over 100 countries and cultures will offer 900+ showings of cultural dance and song at 45 shared stages. Pavilions will offer folk arts and cultural displays at 77 sites, home life vignettes at 30 sites, and 600 cultural foods from 65 kitchens. |
|The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is Canada's leading national land conservation organization. A private, non-profit organization, we partner with individuals, corporations, other non-profit organizations and governments at all levels to protect our most important natural treasures — the natural areas that sustain Canada’s plants and wildlife. Since 1962, NCC and our partners have helped to conserve 2.8 million acres of ecologically significant land from coast to coast. All of the youth are resilient in some way, able to struggle through unimaginable hardships every day. The OSYS strives to connect with each and every youth to foster empowerment and development. |Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society is a non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of animals in our community. We work closely with rural communities where there is limited to no animal services. We are primarily foster home and volunteer based, with our operations and veterinary hospital operating out of Calgary, with an operation now in Edmonton. Volunteer Opportunities||The Festival of Trees is an annual holiday celebration, decorated by Edmonton’s community spirit and philanthropic passion.
