The Ethno-cultural Capacity-Building Collaborative was born in 2022, and since that time has engaged with more than 60 grassroots organizations and capacity-builders. Though our work is careful, thoughtful and complex, our goal is simple: we aim to strengthen Edmonton’s grassroots ethno-cultural organizations by nurturing a collaborative ecosystem. We focus on creating space for the organizations to develop relationships and build skills in order to ensure each organization has the tools they need to thrive. In doing so, this work supports broad, diverse, and chronically-underserved newcomer communities across Edmonton.
